Moorpark, California – On the afternoon of May 20, Ventura County Animal Services responded to a distress call involving two baby raccoons trapped in a boat compartment.
The boat had been stored at a facility in Moorpark and was already on the move when the owner heard the animals crying.
Animal Control Officer Horn quickly responded to the call.
He safely freed the two raccoons from the compartment and ensured their protection.
Both animals were transferred to Wildlife Care of Southern California for care and rehabilitation.
