Hebi, Henan, China – On September 10, 2025, a dramatic accident occurred on the Jinggang’ao Expressway in Hebi when a truck carrying a dozen or more cows flipped and caught fire.
The incident happened after a car driver, Qin, missed the Hebi North exit and abruptly swerved from the second lane to the fourth lane. The truck in that lane tried to avoid the car, lost control, and overturned. Sparks flew as the truck scraped the road, and the cows were thrown from the vehicle onto the highway.
Fortunately, the truck driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was unharmed. Authorities held Qin fully responsible for the crash due to his reckless lane maneuver.
Traffic police reminded drivers to plan routes in advance and to change lanes safely at least one kilometer before exits, service areas, or interchanges. They emphasized that missing an exit should never lead to sudden lane changes, emergency braking, stopping, reversing, or driving against traffic.
