Train Shaking as Earthquake Hits Myanmar and Thailand

@jiameng_27 shared a video of a train rocking wildly as a 7.7-magnitude earthquake jolted Myanmar and Thailand.

Bangkok, Thailand – They posted in Thai: “ตอนแรกอยู่ข้างในก็เอะแบบทำไมรถไฟโยก พอทีนี้โยกแรงมาก พากันวิ่งออกเลย.” In English: “At first, I thought the train was shaking. I didn’t think it was an earthquake. I knew because I pressed X first.”

Mandalay, Myanmar – The quake killed at least 144 people and injured over 730 near Mandalay, per Myanmar’s military leader.

Bangkok, Thailand – In Thailand, the tremors toppled buildings in Bangkok, killing three and trapping 81 under a collapsed high-rise under construction.

Mandalay, Myanmar – A 6.4-magnitude aftershock struck soon after, rattling Myanmar, Thailand, and even China.
