Laredo, Texas – On May 26th, a dramatic high-speed chase ended with a smuggler’s arrest and seven individuals captured after jumping from a moving white Dodge Charger.

Texas DPS troopers initiated the pursuit, which escalated until the vehicle stopped and several people fled on foot.

Dashcam footage shows the suspects sprinting from the car as troopers gave chase.

All seven were quickly apprehended, along with the driver.

The driver is now facing charges for Smuggling of Persons and Evading Arrest.

The seven individuals were referred to U.S. Border Patrol.

The incident is part of Operation Lone Star, aimed at stopping human smuggling and capturing those attempting to evade law enforcement.
