Donna, Texas – A video captured a stormy scene with partially submerged vehicles in Alamo/Donna, TX. Heavy rain battered the area, leaving roads underwater and cars stranded.

The Texas Department of Transportation issued a traffic alert for the Donna-Weslaco region. Crews are working hard to assess the flooding aftermath on local roadways.

One striking image comes from in front of the Victoria Palms Resort. The eastbound I-2 exit to Milano’s is overwhelmed by water, disrupting travel.

TxDOT crews continue their efforts to manage the situation. The flooding has caused delays and safety concerns for drivers in the area.
