Storm Leaves Semi Trucks Stranded on Texas Roadside

San Juan, Texas – A video captured the aftermath of a storm, showing semi trucks lined up along the side of a road in San Juan, Texas. The powerful storm hit the area, leaving vehicles stranded and roads cluttered with debris.

The Texas Department of Transportation issued a traffic alert for the San Juan-Alamo region. Several abandoned vehicles and debris were reported on the eastbound I-2 frontage road, east of Stewart Road, on Saturday morning, March 29, 2025.

Authorities expect the frontage road in this area to remain closed for several hours. Crews are working to clear the wreckage and ensure the roadway is safe for travel again.

The storm’s impact has disrupted traffic, forcing drivers to find alternate routes. The Texas Department of Transportation urges motorists to avoid the affected area until cleanup efforts are complete.
