Snoqualmie, Washington – Dramatic footage captured by X user Lance Zimmerman shows Snoqualmie Falls roaring amid heavy fog and mist caused by an atmospheric river event.
The video, shot in a dense forest of evergreen trees, pans and zooms on the waterfall as it cascades powerfully over a rocky ledge into a churning river below.
Thick white spray rises from the base, blending with the surrounding haze. Bare branches and reddish foliage in the foreground add subtle color to the scene.
Zimmerman captioned the footage, “Snoqualmie Falls is going off. #wawx,” highlighting the intensity of the surge.
The waterfall’s force and the atmospheric conditions combine to create a dramatic natural display, capturing the raw power of the river and the surrounding landscape.
