X user Lawrence filmed shoppers splashing through knee-deep currents, bags raised like life-rafts while rubbish swirled around their ankles.

The mall locked its doors within minutes, one of scores of businesses and roads shut across Germiston on November 6, 2025, SABC News reported.

Online rage explodes at the owner for letting the same flood strike every single year without fixing a single drain.
