Sheep Cause Stir Near Texas School Before Return Home

Leander, Texas – A small group of sheep was found near Tarvin Elementary School in Leander, prompting a lighthearted post from the Leander Police Department.

The department joked that they called Little Bo Peep, who confirmed these sheep were not part of her flock. Officers hoped the sheep would lead them home, wagging their tails behind them.

The animals were safely taken in by Leander Animal Services as the search began for their owner.

Later, the police confirmed that the sheep had been returned to their rightful owner. He arrived and quickly herded them back home.

The police thanked the community for sharing the original post, which helped reunite the animals with their family.
