Palhoça, Santa Catarina – A severe accident occurred this Sunday on BR-101 in the Morro dos Cavalos region of Palhoça. The Santa Catarina Protection and Civil Defense provided support in responding to the incident.

The crash resulted in the total destruction of 21 vehicles and 4 trucks. Six people were injured with minor burns due to the accident.

The response involved the Federal Highway Police (PRF), Arteris Litoral Sul, Military Firefighters, and Palhoça Municipal Civil Defense. The P2R2 Group coordinated actions with the teams on site.

Investigations into the accident’s causes are ongoing. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and stress the importance of caution and road safety.
