Santiago, Chile – The Santiago Fire Department is currently responding to a fire emergency. Volunteers and equipment from 10 companies have been dispatched to tackle the blaze.

The fire broke out in an apartment on the 8th floor of a building. The structure is located at the intersection of Ramón Corvalán Street and Carabineros de Chile in the Santiago commune.

An alarm was raised due to the Incendio, prompting a swift response from the firefighters. Details about the cause of the fire or any injuries remain unclear at this time.

The Cuerpo de Bomberos de Santiago is working to control the situation. Local authorities are also on the scene to assist with the emergency.
