Fulton County, OH – Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus were stopped by law enforcement after being caught driving too fast on a road in Fulton County.

Body camera footage shared by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office shows a deputy approaching a vehicle he had pulled over and immediately recognizing the driver. “Santa!” the deputy says as he reaches the window.

During the exchange, Santa tells the deputy that he has a CCW. “Times are rough!” the deputy replies.

The officer explains that the reason for the stop was speeding. As the interaction continues, the deputy jokes, “There goes my presents.”

According to a message posted by the sheriff’s office on social media, the stop did not result in any punishment. “No coal was issued—just a friendly reminder that even sleighs need to slow down,” the office wrote.
