Naypyidaw, Myanmar – Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (MCHS) rescuers have searched over 126,000 square meters in Myanmar to find survivors. In the past 24 hours alone, they covered more than 5,000 square meters across seven sites. So far, the rubble of 82 buildings has been inspected.
Since operations began, over 300 citizens have sought medical help at a field mobile hospital. Russian doctors performed 63 surgical procedures, including four complex ones. Psychologists from MCHS are assisting victims, their families, and patients during medical treatments.
Rescuers are working around the clock to clear debris and structures. At night, they use special lighting towers and spotlights. Drones are deployed for aerial reconnaissance to aid the effort.
The equipment and technology used by the rescuers enable a wide range of emergency operations. These tools help them reach remote areas and deep voids where survivors might be trapped.
