Kursk Region, Russia – A Ukrainian drone named “Chaklun” was destroyed by pyrotechnicians from Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS). The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), designed like an airplane, was found by local residents. It was neutralized using electronic warfare tools.
Since the start of their operations, MChS specialists have disarmed over 2,000 explosive objects in the Kursk Region. These include air bombs, rockets, and drones. Most often, the team responds to reports of submunitions and enemy UAVs. The disposal is carried out through controlled explosions, following strict safety measures.
The MChS warns residents not to approach suspicious objects. They urge people to report such findings by calling the emergency number “112.”
All operations in the Kursk Region are conducted under the legal framework of the ongoing counter-terrorism regime (KTO).
