MONTEFIORE DELL’ASO (AP) – Firefighters from San Benedetto del Tronto responded on Saturday morning to the area of the local water treatment plant in Contrada San Giovanni, where a roe deer had slipped into one of the large tanks and was unable to climb out.

The crew reached the animal inside the facility perimeter and worked to safely immobilize it.

After lifting the deer back up to road level, firefighters released it into the surrounding natural environment.
