“This is the Sun right now where we live, north of ThePasMb,” McLauchlan wrote. The video shows the sun struggling to shine through thick wildfire smoke.

The eerie scene highlights the intensity of the ongoing wildfires affecting Northern Manitoba. McLauchlan added a plea: “Keep us in your prayers.”

The video was recorded on June 2, 2025, at Rocky Lake, just north of The Pas.
