Corona, California – Corona Police officers rushed to rescue a baby left alone in a locked car as temperatures soared last week.

The call led officers to a parked vehicle where the engine was off and the windows were rolled up.

Inside, a baby was visibly in distress.

Without hesitation, officers broke a window to reach the child.

The dramatic rescue was captured on both body camera and aerial surveillance footage.

Authorities have not confirmed how long the child was trapped.

The Corona Police Department is urging the public never to leave children unattended in vehicles, especially in rising temperatures.
