Astana, Kazakhstan – On the morning of March 28, a report reached police that a young man was standing on the ledge of an eighth-floor apartment building. Patrol officers Jasulan Kyzdybek, Fazyl Aibolat, Sumgat Nazymbekov, and Abzal Kadyrov rushed to the scene.
When they arrived, the apartment door was locked, and the man was clinging to the window frame outside. “A few seconds played a decisive role, so we decided to act quickly,” Kyzdybek explained.
The officers broke down the door, entered the apartment, and managed to grab the man, preventing a reckless act.
The 20-year-old from Astana was taken to the police department and later handed over to an ambulance team for psychological support.
