Coney Island, New York – NYPD officers went beyond crime-fighting to save lives when they responded to a house fire while on patrol.

Members of the NYPD60Pct Quality of Life team noticed the fire as they patrolled the neighborhood. Without hesitation, the officers entered the burning home.

Inside, they rescued the residents along with their dog, bringing everyone to safety. Their swift action prevented further harm and highlighted the department’s dedication to the community.
