North Andover, Massachusetts – Video recorded by Martin shows the Northern Lights, or aurora borealis, glowing above the town on November 12, 2025, during a severe geomagnetic storm triggered by solar activity.

The spectacle is part of a wider episode in which auroras became visible across much of the United States, reaching unusually far south after a powerful solar flare and coronal mass ejection.

In the footage, the lights appear as faint, colorful streaks and waves in the sky, mainly visible through phone cameras using night mode and long exposure settings.
