The crowd had gathered at midnight to wait for chicken and rice platters from Adel’s Famous Halal Food, a street vendor known across the city.
The clip highlights the cart’s incredible draw, with a full block of customers standing beneath the glow of Midtown’s neon lights and skyscrapers.

Adel’s menu includes chicken over rice, lamb over rice, and a combination platter. Lamb gyros and sandwiches are also popular, served with either yellow rice or a spicier version. Meals are topped with their famous white sauce or fiery red sauce.
