Izmir, Turkey – Helicopter video captured the intense firefighting efforts over Bornova as a major wildfire spread across the region.
To control the blaze, 10 planes and 16 helicopters filled the skies like bees.
On the ground, 54 fire trucks, 4 construction machines, and 372 personnel worked tirelessly like ants.
Teams also continued to fight fires burning in other parts of the country with unwavering dedication.
The battle will go on until the last flame is extinguished.
In another wildfire near Yakaköy in Bornova, the fire jumped from non-forest land into forest territory.
To contain it, 2 planes, 11 helicopters, 22 fire trucks, and 160 personnel were deployed.
