Camargo, Cantabria – A fire broke out at the JC Navalips bronze foundry located in the Riamar industrial park in Camargo. Emergency teams quickly responded to the blaze, which has produced a thick column of black smoke visible from across the Santander Bay.

Authorities confirmed no injuries as all workers evacuated the factory before the fire spread. The emergency call was received at 9:50 a.m., mobilizing firefighters from Santander and Camargo, ambulances from 061, local police, the Civil Guard, and regional fire support.

The fire reportedly began outside the foundry but then spread to the building’s interior. Emergency teams are actively working to contain the fire and prevent further damage.
