Almassora, Spain – Raging flames engulfed an old scrapyard in Almassora, as a massive fire tore through a site packed with compressed textile material.

The blaze, now fully developed, sparked a full emergency response. Five fire crews, a 35,000-liter heavy tanker, command units, and even a C1 GVA helicopter have been deployed to fight the inferno.

A large-scale firefighting operation, led by BombersDipcas, has been battling through the night using heavy machinery to create firebreaks and halt the spread of flames.

Despite the intensity, the fire remains contained within the industrial perimeter. Crews continue their round-the-clock effort to cool the site and prevent further danger.

As dawn breaks, another grueling day of firefighting begins. Relief teams have taken over to ensure the operation pushes forward without rest.
