Atlantic Ocean – U.S. Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier fighter jets from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 263, part of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), conducted flight deck landing drills on August 17, 2025.

The Harriers executed vertical landings aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) while underway in the Atlantic Ocean.

These deck landing qualifications are part of exercises to enhance squadron readiness in support of their regularly scheduled deployment.
