Wenzhou, China – A man in his 40s was severely shocked while attempting to climb an electric pole to steal a bird nest in Yongjia, Wenzhou.

The man used a soft ladder to scale the pole but accidentally touched live wires, knocking him unconscious. Fortunately, his pants got caught on the ladder, causing him to dangle 15 meters above the ground.

Firefighters arrived quickly, using a ladder truck to rescue the man, who suffered electrical burns. After being safely lowered, he was handed over to medical staff for treatment.

The incident has sparked online comments, with many mocking the man’s failed attempt. One commenter joked that even birds would shake their heads at this move.
