Bonita Springs, Florida – What began as a routine traffic stop turned into a heartwarming surprise for Deputy Jonathan Amendola.
While addressing a driver, the deputy spotted a small kitten darting across the road. The driver quickly joined in, and together they safely scooped up the feline and placed it in the back of the patrol car.
“That is almost the weirdest thing that’s ever happened on a traffic stop,” Deputy Amendola said.
The kitten, seemingly working its charm, ensured the driver got off with just a warning.
The furry stowaway was later taken to Lee County Domestic Animal Services, where he is now available for adoption.
