Sea of Japan – A KC-135 from the 909th Air Refueling Squadron at Kadena Air Base refueled a 36th Fighter Squadron F-16 Fighting Falcon and 25th Fighter Squadron A-10 Thunderbolt IIs.

The refueling took place during Combat Search and Rescue Exercise 25-2 over the Sea of Japan on April 9, 2025.

The F-16 Fighting Falcon and A-10 Thunderbolt IIs are assigned to Osan Air Base.
