Philippines – The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS-DOST) reported a weak ash emission at the summit crater of Kanlaon Volcano at 9:47 AM on April 20, 2025.

The event lasted for 31 minutes.

Grayish plumes rose up to 150 meters above the crater before drifting southwest.

The activity was recorded by IP cameras in Canlaon City and VKLM.

Alert Level 3 remains in effect over Kanlaon Volcano.
