Rome, Italy – Six jet warplanes streaked across the sky over the Italian capital, releasing green, white, and red smoke to form the Italian flag.
The flyover took place above the Altare della Patria, one of Rome’s most iconic monuments.
It was part of the June 2 Republic Day celebrations.
The display was led by the Frecce Tricolori, Italy’s national aerobatic team, under the command of the Aeronautica Militare.
The jets honored the fallen, creating a powerful symbol of unity and remembrance.
The Italian Ministry of Defense shared the moment, calling it an emotional tribute to the nation and its history.
