Giaveno, Italy – On Saturday, May 3, 2025, a family of hikers was rescued after losing their way in a forest above the town of Giaveno at 1,100 meters of altitude.

They called for help after being unable to find the return path.

Firefighter helicopter rescuers located the family and brought them to safety.

All family members were reported to be in good health.
