Highway Off-Ramp In Texas Submerged As Vehicles Struggle Through Floodwaters

Texas, USA – A video recorded by Anderson Jones captures a highway off-ramp on 820 near Lancaster and Rosedale overwhelmed by floodwaters during heavy rainfall.

The footage, filmed from inside a vehicle with raindrops covering the windshield, shows the off-ramp inundated with muddy water, creating hazardous conditions for drivers.

Several vehicles, including a FedEx truck and multiple cars, attempt to push through the flooded section. The water level rises up to the lower parts of the vehicles as they move cautiously through the submerged roadway.

Construction cones and barriers line the area, suggesting ongoing work that may have worsened the flooding at the site. The sky remains overcast, adding to the stormy atmosphere.

Anderson Jones commented on the video, saying: “Pretty flooded highway off-ramp on 820 near Lancaster and Rosedale.”

The scene illustrates the challenges motorists face when navigating severe flooding on busy highways under dangerous weather conditions.
