Matera, Italy – On Sunday, May 4, 2025, firefighters rescued an injured foreign hiker near the Tibetan Bridge over the Gravina stream in the Matera area.

The woman was reached by a team of firefighters and medical staff after she was hurt during her hike.

She was airlifted to the hospital by the Drago VF 127 helicopter from the Bari flight unit.
