New Jersey – On April 26, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service released a video showing a helicopter pouring water from a bucket onto the massive 15,250-acre Jones Road Wildfire in Ocean and Lacey townships.
The video highlights the intense efforts to combat the wildfire, which has been raging across the area. The Forest Fire Service, supported by multiple agencies, continues to battle the flames.
Officials also remind the public that flying unauthorized drones near a wildfire can have serious consequences. Drones in the area can ground air support, severely hampering firefighting and observation efforts.
The NJDEP Forest Fire Service urges everyone to respect the no-drone zone, emphasizing that “If YOU fly, WE can’t.”
