Hawaii’s Kilauea Volcano Launches Lava Fountains 180 Metres High

Hawaii – Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano was sending lava shooting hundreds of feet into the air during its latest eruption episode on Wednesday, March 26.

The volcano entered episode 15 of its period of activity on Tuesday, according to the United States Geological Survey’s Hawaiian Volcano Observatory.

The USGS said lava fountains reached 600 feet (180 meters) high.
