Sacramento, California – Crews from the Sacramento Fire Department responded to a fast-moving grass fire that ignited in tall vegetation.

Flames quickly spread toward a nearby church and several apartment buildings, posing a serious threat.

The fire reached 11 nearby vehicles, which were engulfed in flames before firefighters could contain the blaze.

Thanks to a rapid response, the fire was stopped just in time, and the structures were spared from damage.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
