San Juan, Texas – Video shows an elevated view of partially submerged vehicles in San Juan, TX. Flood waters have caused significant disruption in the area.

The Texas Department of Transportation issued a traffic alert for the San Juan-Alamo region. The eastbound I-2 frontage road is affected.

The closure spans between Cesar Chavez and Tower Road. It remains in place due to ongoing issues.

Flood waters continue to cover the roadway. Abandoned vehicles are also blocking the route.

Authorities have not yet announced when the road will reopen. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
