Erie, Pennsylvania – A video recorded by Chris Luft on October 23, 2025, shows severe flooding along West 12th Street during heavy rainfall from a weather event.

The footage reveals an urban roadway covered in several inches of muddy, fast-moving water. A white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck moves cautiously through the center lane, sending waves and ripples across the flooded street.

Parked vehicles in red, yellow, and black line both sides of the road near low-rise commercial buildings with blue awnings, possibly belonging to an auto shop or similar business. Chain-link fences, utility poles, and traffic lights frame the soaked landscape.

Rain continues to fall under a gray, overcast sky as the camera pans to follow the truck’s slow progress. Wet foliage and floating debris drift through the water, but no people or additional hazards are visible in the scene.
