Biesheim, France – A jogger stumbled upon a deer caught in an electric fence in Biesheim. The surprising discovery happened in the Haut-Rhin region, under SDIS 68’s watch.

Firefighters from VTU Neuf-Brisach quickly teamed up with the Colmar animal rescue crew. They worked together to free the deer without harm.

The rescue was a success. The deer was released back into the wild, safe and sound.

The animal unit boasts 60 expert firefighters. They’re trained to handle these unique emergencies.
