Aparri, Philippines – On May 3, 2025, U.S. Marines with Marine Fighting Squadron 323 conducted routine exercises during Exercise Balikatan 25.

The operations took place over the South China Sea as part of the joint annual training between the U.S. military and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Balikatan is a longstanding annual exercise that strengthens the alliance, improves combined capabilities, and demonstrates a commitment to regional security.
