Coweta County, Georgia – A young fawn made an unexpected attempt to breach a jail’s security. The incident occurred at the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, where the deer tried to squeeze through a gate.

Body camera footage captured Deputy Austin Webb responding swiftly. The fawn had wandered past the guard line, entering a restricted area of the jail property.

Deputy Webb carefully approached the distressed animal. He gently picked up the fawn, ensuring its safety, and carried it to his patrol car with the help of an onlooker.
