Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California – U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II, KC-130J Hercules, and F/A-18C/D Hornet aircraft from Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, took off and landed at the air station on Oct. 18, 2025.

Aircrew and pilots carried out routine training flights designed to maintain their proficiency and operational readiness.

The sorties also formed part of a show of force during the Marine Corps’ 250th Birthday amphibious capabilities demonstration.
