Orleans, Massachusetts – A pet pig named Poo-ah escaped its pen and roamed the streets of Orleans, prompting a lively pursuit by local police. The Orleans Police Department shared the incident on social media, noting the pig “had ham-bushed its pen” for a self-guided tour.

Officers responded quickly to reports of the loose pig. After a brief chase, Sgt. Cronin used crackers to lure Poo-ah back to safety. The department praised the peaceful resolution, calling it “another pigture-perfect day in Orleans!”

The pig’s adventure caused no harm, and Poo-ah was safely returned to its owner. The police’s creative use of crackers ensured the porcine perpetrator was back home without incident.
