Participants displayed large posters of hostages, including Noa Argamani and Matan Zangauker. Attendees embraced one another, placed flowers and stood in quiet reflection.

The gathering commemorated the second anniversary of the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack, which killed 1,200 Israelis and abducted over 250 people. The vigil’s context notes that 101 hostages remain held in Gaza.
