Emergency Helicopter Rescue Airlifts Injured Cyclist From Vallesa Trail to Lliria

Paterna, Spain – Firefighters from the Consorci rescued a 48-year-old cyclist injured after falling on a trail in Vallesa.

The alert was received at 9:47 AM. Firefighters, a sergeant from Paterna, and the GERA helicopter V-990 from the Provincial Fire Consortium with a doctor responded.

After giving first medical aid and immobilizing the cyclist, rescuers airlifted him on a rescue stretcher to a safe zone in Lliria.

There, he was transferred to medical services for further care.
