Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan – U.S. Marine Corps aircraft and vehicles from 1st Marine Aircraft Wing lined up across the runway on Oct. 24, 2025, during a coordinated elephant walk.

The formation brought multiple 1st MAW assets onto the airfield at the same time, staging them nose to tail along the strip at MCAS Futenma.

According to 1st MAW, the elephant walk was carried out to display combat power and act as a visible show of force from the unit based in Okinawa.
