X user Alara captured the wild scene on video, posting jaw-dropping footage of the swirling brown haze just before it swallowed everything in sight. The clip, shared with the world yesterday, showed the eerie moment the storm rolled in, turning day into an apocalyptic blur.

Alara warned followers: “This was before it hit zero visibility.” The winds, howling through La Mesa, kicked up a wall of dust that left locals stunned. “This is LA Mesa, Texas right near (Odessa) in the beginning of yesterday’s wind storm,” they added. By Tuesday, the video had X buzzing, with users marveling at nature’s raw power tearing through the Lone Star State.
