Jian, Jiangxi Province – Dashcam footage captured the chilling moment a car driver froze as two massive trucks approached head-on, leading to a violent crash on the Baijia Bridge.

The incident occurred when Lai, operating a heavy dump truck, veered into the opposite lane in an illegal attempt to overtake. At the same time, Zhang was driving a small car in the oncoming lane.

Instead of swerving or moving to avoid impact, Zhang stopped the vehicle entirely.

The result was a devastating collision.

Zhang was injured, and both vehicles suffered significant damage.

After an investigation, traffic police determined that Lai was fully at fault. His decision to overtake when there was oncoming traffic was a direct violation of traffic law.

Authorities reminded drivers that overtaking is strictly prohibited when the vehicle in front is turning, making a U-turn, or when there is a risk of oncoming traffic.

The crash serves as a stark warning about the dangers of reckless overtaking.
