Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia – A stray dog fell into a 3-meter trash bin due to massive snowdrifts caused by a powerful cyclone. Snow in the city has piled up to several meters high.

Local residents tried to free the animal but couldn’t reach it. They called Russia’s EMERCOM rescuers for help.

The rescue team arrived and crafted a loop from rope. They carefully slipped it under the dog’s legs and pulled the struggling animal to safety.

After the rescue, the dog ran off to continue its day. The EMERCOM team stressed their commitment to saving every life.
