Brandon, Florida – At 2:43 p.m. on March 19, 2025, a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputy was involved in a traffic accident. The deputy was responding to a call with lights and sirens activated when the crash occurred.

The collision took place at the intersection of Bloomingdale Ave and Gornto Lake Rd. The deputy’s vehicle flipped over and struck another car during the incident. Authorities reported that no citizens were harmed in the accident.

The deputy sustained minor injuries in the crash. They were taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. Details about the cause of the accident are still under investigation.
